The post is housed in a pleasant brick building on a large lot surrounded by homes. The Raws-Tait VFW Post # 7334, Kennedy Boulevard and Somerdale Road, is named in part for William C. Tait who died on July 9, 1944 in Normandy when a mine he was attempting to defuse exploded, killing him and the other part of the name, for William Raws who was killed in action in the fighting off the coast of Sicily on July 16, 1943.
